7. Chinese translator
Job Description:
- Interpretation & Translation: Provide accurate oral translation from Chinese to Khmer (or English) and vice versa during meetings, discussions, and daily operations.
- Communication Support: Assist in communication between Chinese-speaking personnel and local employees to ensure smooth coordination.
- Documentation Assistance: Translate simple documents, reports, and emails when necessary.
- Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between Chinese stakeholders and local teams to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Administrative Support: Assist with tasks related to language interpretation, such as taking notes and summarizing key points.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve language barriers that may arise in day-to-day operations.
- Cultural Understanding: Provide insights into cultural differences to improve communication and workplace harmony.
Job Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and Khmer. English proficiency is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an oral translator or interpreter.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive discussions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Basic Writing Skills: Ability to translate simple written content when required.
